Both teams are evenly match, no handicap given to either. You will need to bet on the winner of the match in order to win the bet. This is the same as fixed odds betting.
¼ Handicap
In 0.25 Handicap, you may win half or lose half of your bet.
Newcastle v Everton 2.05 0:1/4 1.80
This means Everton has a ¼ ball advantage when the game starts. If you bet on the winner of the match, you win your bet.
Assuming the match ends in a draw:
If you bet on Newcastle , you will lose half your stake. (Loss1/2)
If you bet on Everton, you will win only half of your winning. (Win1/2)
½ Handicap
When either team has a ½ goal start, you will either win or lose. No draw is possible in the wager.
Bolton v Liverpool 1.85 1/2:0 2.05
If the match results in a draw, you will win if you bet on Bolton and lose if you bet on Liverpool . In Asian Handicap, it takes more than 0.5 goal to fully win or lose a wager.
¾ Handicap
When there is a ¾ handicap given to either team, you may win half or lose half of your bet.
Bolton v Watford 1.85 0:3/4 2.00
In this match, Watford is given a ¾ goal start. If the game ends in a draw, you will win if you bet on Watford and lose if you bet on Bolton .
Assuming the match ends with 1:0, with Bolton winning by 1 goal:
If you bet on Bolton , you will win half of your winning (Win1/2)
If you bet on Watford , you will lose half your bet (Loss1/2).
0:1 Handicap
Liverpool v Newcastle 1.95 0:01 1.90
Newcastle is given a head start of 1 goal when match starts. If the match ends in a draw, you will win if you bet on Newcastle and lose if you bet on Liverpool .
In the case of the match ending with 1:0, with Liverpool winning by 1 goal, it is considered a “Draw” under Asian Handicap betting. You will get your stake back irregardless of who you bet on.
If you bet on Liverpool , you will win if the match ends with Liverpool leading with more than 2 goals.
Higher handicap is possible when the teams are badly mismatched. The rules for Asian Handicap are the same. As long as your team wins by more than 0.5 goal, you will win the full bet. Losing or winning by 0.25 goals will result in the case of Loss1/2 or Win1/2.
